As a lakefront property owner in the Elliot Lake area you can become a member of the Elliot Lake Waterfront Owners Association (ELWOA), which entitles you to the support and many services available to you through the association.

Annual membership fee is $30.00/waterfront lot from September 1 – August 31

You may join by completing the Membership Form and mailing it along with your cheque made payable to ELWOA to:

Benefits of Membership:

1. Being represented by an organized group which is working to:

Improve communications (i.e. phone, 911, internet, etc)
Keep roadways maintained and safe
Improve police, fire and EMS protection
Keep taxes fair for waterfront owners
maintain constant water levels
To enhance services provided such as:
- Mail and parcel delivery
- Boat launches
- Garbage collection

2. Having access to the Members Services section of the ELWOA website:

Be kept up-to-date on the achievements of the ELWOA through Newsletters and email/mail contacts
Having links to fire, water and bear safety
Share ideas with other members on a variety of topics on the Discussion Forum section
Be provided with minutes of past AGMs
Accommodation listings for the Elliot Lake area for you or visitors

3. Having a greater voice in issues such as:

Pollution prevention
Preserving shorelines
Enhancing habitat
Reducing invasive species
Preventing shoreline erosions
Developing stewardship programs

4. Having voting rights at the ELWOA AGM
