Transport Canada offers information on many aspects of boating safety including personal floatation devices (PFD), Pleasure Craft licences, speeding and impairment, safety tips and more.  They even have a boating safety app for your phone.

​Pleasure Craft Operator Card

To operate a watercraft you are required to have on your possession a Pleasure Craft Operator Card.  This site provides a list of most FAQ and a list of accredited course providers.
